CX-3 Gains a 1.5-Liter Engine and New Body Colors
Mazda has begun accepting orders for a model that adds a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and new body colors to its compact SUV, the CX-3, with sales commencing on Thursday, June 4. Additionally, a 100th Anniversary Special Edition will be offered, launching in late July.

100th Anniversary Special Edition with Exclusive Features Also Launches in Late July
The CX-3, previously offered with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a 1.8-liter diesel model, now expands its options with a new 1.5-liter gasoline engine model, designed for nimble city driving.
Furthermore, changes to the front seatback material introduce the next-generation seat, which supports an upright pelvic posture for a natural S-curve of the spine, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The body color palette is enhanced with the addition of "Polymetal Gray Metallic."
In terms of safety, the vehicle comes standard with "i-Activsense," based on Mazda's safety philosophy aimed at minimizing accident risks. It qualifies as a "Safety Support Car S Wide" under the "Safety Support Car" initiative promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, making it eligible for government subsidies.
In commemoration of Mazda's 100th anniversary, the "100th Anniversary Special Edition" features exclusive equipment and is also available for the 1.5-liter gasoline engine "15S Touring" model. Special features include a white body color, red leather seats, and emblems on the headrests and center wheel caps.
The price for the newly introduced 1.5-liter gasoline engine starts at ¥1,892,000 for the "15S" and ¥1,991,000 for the "15S Touring."
Meanwhile, the 100th Anniversary Special Edition is priced at ¥2,653,000 for the 1.5-liter gasoline FF model and ¥2,883,200 for the 4WD. The 2.0-liter gasoline engine FF model is ¥2,910,600, and the 4WD is ¥3,140,800. The 1.8-liter diesel FF model is ¥3,185,600, and the 4WD is ¥3,415,800.
