G-Class Special Editions Arrive in Unique Body Colors Not Found in the Catalog
On July 27, Mercedes-Benz Japan announced the "Mercedes-Benz G350d Manufaktur Edition" and "Mercedes-AMG G63 Manufaktur Edition," special editions of the "G-Class" SUV, which was reborn in 2018. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in August of this year.

G350d Features Adaptive Damping System
The "G350d Manufaktur Edition," based on the G350d, is powered by the "OM656" inline-six clean diesel engine, producing 286ps (210kW) and 600Nm. It is available in Diamond White (metallic paint) and Jupiter Red (solid paint: optional charge), body colors not offered in the standard catalog.

Black accents are applied to the side mirrors, front/rear skirts, wheel arches, front grille, roof, front/rear three-pointed stars, and spare tire ring. Additionally, the headlights, front turn signals, and rear combination lamps feature a smoked black finish.

Inside, the front seats feature seat ventilators and a relaxation function, which prevent stuffiness by circulating air, upholstered in supple, high-quality Nappa leather. The interior trim is finished with black ash wood, a material not available in the standard catalog models.
Furthermore, it incorporates an adaptive damping system with electronically controlled, continuously variable dampers, promising a comfortable ride regardless of road conditions.

The other model, the "Mercedes-AMG G63 Manufaktur Edition," is based on the "Mercedes-AMG G63," powered by an AMG 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 585ps (430kW) and 850Nm.
The exterior features a special matte dark olive green paint, not available in the standard catalog, and matte black-painted 22-inch AMG cross-spoke forged alloy wheels.

Additionally, the AMG Night Package is specially equipped, featuring black accents on the side mirrors, side strips, front/rear skirts, and spare tire ring, along with smoked black headlights, front turn signals, and rear combination lamps.
The interior is adorned with Nappa leather throughout, including the seats, which feature a two-tone titanium grey and black design and offer an exceptionally supple feel, creating a luxurious ambiance.

The interior trim and steering wheel also feature special specifications not found in the standard catalog, including black ash wood interior trim and an AMG Performance Steering Wheel (Nappa leather/DINAMICA).
The price for the Mercedes-Benz G350d Manufaktur Edition is 15.49 million yen (Jupiter Red color is an additional 800,000 yen), and the Mercedes-AMG G63 Manufaktur Edition is 24.8 million yen.
