Platform: High-Rigidity, Low-Center-of-Gravity TNGA "GA-K"; Two Powertrain Options

The Harrier, a mid-size SUV, debuted in 1997. The fourth-generation model aims to offer a new value proposition: "a partner that enriches life beyond the SUV category." It was developed not merely for practicality or on-paper specifications, but to be a singular presence that elegantly fulfills the heart's desires.
The exterior features a flowing, well-proportioned silhouette, with a front end defined by signature lamps recognizable from afar, a dynamic side profile with changing body contours, a tapered coupe-like cabin, and a full-width rear light bar.
The interior is crafted for a comfortable and refined ambiance, highlighted by a wide center console inspired by a horse's saddle. Materials include leather-like textures evoking the natural curves of bent leather, wood-grain accents inspired by "bent wood" (magaki), and piping details throughout. A panoramic roof with dimming capabilities, allowing soft light to filter in, is a first for a Toyota vehicle.
The platform utilizes the high-rigidity, low-center-of-gravity TNGA "GA-K." Two powertrain options are available. The hybrid variant features the THS II hybrid system, powered by a 2.5-liter inline-4 Dynamic Force Engine (A25A-FXS). Paired with E-Four (electronically controlled all-wheel drive), the 4WD model delivers powerful, seamless driving with a WLTC fuel economy of 21.6 km/l. A new 2WD model is also offered, achieving a WLTC fuel economy of 22.3 km/l.
The other option is a gasoline variant, combining a 2.0-liter inline-4 Dynamic Force Engine (M20A-FKS) with a Direct Shift-CVT. The 4WD version achieves a WLTC fuel economy of 14.7 km/l, while the 2WD model reaches 15.4 km/l.

Advanced features include the "Toyota Safety Sense" pre-collision safety package and, for the first time in a Toyota, a digital rearview mirror with front and rear recording functions. The navigation system is a 12.3-inch TFT touch-wide display T-Connect SD navigation system, compatible with smartphones. Prices range from ¥3.58 million to ¥5.04 million for the hybrid models, and ¥2.99 million to ¥4.43 million for the gasoline models.
