New Bentley Bentayga Debuts
On June 30, Bentley unveiled the new Bentayga SUV, with a refreshed exterior design front and rear. Following the V8 engine model, the company announced plans to release hybrid and performance-focused Speed models.
Plug-in Hybrid and 6.0-Liter W12 Engine Models Also Planned
The new Bentayga's exterior features revised front and rear designs, including a larger, vertical matrix grille, newly designed LED matrix headlamps, and new rear lights that seamlessly integrate into the tailgate, which now spans the full width of the vehicle.
The interior also sees significant enhancements, including completely redesigned seats and trim, an infotainment system with a 10.9-inch screen, and increased rear legroom.
The powertrain features a 4.0-liter V8 32-valve dual twin-scroll turbocharged engine producing a maximum output of 550 ps and 770 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It boasts a top speed of 290 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds, performance figures comparable to a supercar. With a range of 639 km and CO2 emissions of 302 g/km, it incorporates a system that deactivates four cylinders under specific driving conditions, contributing to fuel economy of 13.3 L/100 km (combined cycle).
Furthermore, Bentley plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid model, boasting the company's highest efficiency to date, and a flagship model equipped with a 6.0-liter W12 TSI engine.
