Control Various Functions with Voice Commands via Google Assistant

The main change in the XC60's minor update is the refreshed infotainment system, which now features a more user-friendly interface.
The new infotainment system enhances functionality, offering Google Maps navigation and the ability to use apps downloadable via the Google Play Store.
Notably, Google Assistant, available from late 2021, allows drivers to control various functions with their voice while remaining focused on driving. Temperature adjustments, destination settings, music and podcast playback, and message sending can all be accomplished through natural, intuitive voice commands.
The vehicle is equipped with an integrated communication modem, providing emergency call and breakdown services. A stolen vehicle tracking function is also planned for release in 2022.
The exterior features new designs for the front grille, front and rear bumpers, and alloy wheels across all grades. Inside, the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screen design and operational logic for the driver display and center display have been updated to align with the new infotainment system.
Standard safety features across all models include "City Safety" (collision avoidance and mitigation braking system) with "Oncoming Lane Mitigation" and "Pedestrian, Cyclist and Large Animal Detection," as well as "Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue Assist." Additionally, "Driver Alert Control" and "Rear Collision Mitigation" have been newly introduced.
The powertrain lineup includes the "B5," a 48V hybrid model combining a 2-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with an electric motor; the "B6," featuring a high-output electric supercharger; and the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) "T8."
New body colors have been added, including Thunder Grey, Platinum Grey, and Silver Dawn.
Pricing starts at 6.49 million yen to 7.49 million yen for the 48V hybrid "B5," with the high-output "B6" priced at 8.09 million yen. The PHEV "T8" ranges from 8.44 million yen to 9.59 million yen.
