Jaguar Land Rover Japan has announced the "Defender Urbanight '22," a special edition Defender featuring a dark exterior color. Orders are limited to a total of 200 units and will be accepted until Monday, March 21, 2022.

"Defender Urbanight '22" was conceived with the concept of a Defender that shines in the urban night.

The body colors include subdued tones like Carpathian Grey and Silicon Silver. Additionally, the Extended Black Pack and 22-inch gloss black finish wheels contribute to a sharp and stylish appearance.

The interior is also well-equipped. Convenience and comfort are enhanced with features such as the Premium Upgrade Interior Pack, which includes heated and cooled seats, and the Clear Sight Interior Rear View Mirror. Electronic air suspension and Adaptive Dynamics are also adopted. This ensures the Defender retains its off-road capability, characteristic of its off-roader heritage.

The base model is the "X-Dynamic SE." The 3-door, 5-seater "Defender 90" is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine. The "Defender 110" is available in a 3-row, 7-seater configuration and features a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel engine.

Sales numbers and pricing: The 3-door, 5-seater "Defender 90 Urbanight '22" in Carpathian Grey is limited to 30 units, and in Silicon Silver to 10 units, for a total of 40 units, priced at 10.48 million yen. The 3-row, 7-seater "Defender 110 Urbanight '22" is limited to 100 units in Carpathian Grey and 60 units in Silicon Silver, for a total of 160 units, priced at 12.20 million yen.
