Adopting Lexus's New "Unified Spindle" Front Face

Lexus has announced its most compact model, which it describes as a "next-generation Lexus model that transcends size hierarchy and redefines the concept of luxury cars."
With dimensions of 4,190mm in length, 1,825mm in width, and 1,560mm in height, the body is sized for easy maneuverability on Japanese roads. Lexus claims that by using the specially developed TNGA platform (GA-B), it has achieved a low center of gravity and high driving performance.
The design, with its "premium casual" concept, features Lexus's new "Unified Spindle" front face. Its low-slung, dynamic proportions exude a presence and sophistication that transcend its compact body size.
The interior also boasts meticulous craftsmanship befitting a premium vehicle. The driving position and packaging are designed to foster a sense of unity between the driver and the car. With the aim of providing a vehicle that resonates with each customer's lifestyle and sensibilities, a new grade structure expressing "five worlds" has been introduced.
Furthermore, a bespoke build system, "Bespoke Build," allows customers to choose from approximately 330,000 combinations of interior colors, seat materials, and embroidery patterns to create a unique vehicle.
At its heart lies a newly developed HEV system, representing further refinement of Lexus's electrification technology. For active safety, the "Lexus Safety System +" and "Lexus Teammate" provide support for safe driving.
Kunihiko Endo, Chief Engineer for the LBX, commented, "We developed this car with the aim of redefining the concept of luxury cars, creating a vehicle that those who appreciate authenticity can drive with ease, returning to their true selves." We look forward to further details expected to be announced towards autumn.
