Porsche Japan began accepting reservations on September 13 (Friday) for the top-end models of the Cayenne series, the new Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid and the new Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid Coupe.

The two models for which reservations began on September 13 are the new Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid and the new Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid Coupe, the flagship models of the Porsche Cayenne series.

Both are plug-in hybrid vehicles that combine a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing a maximum output of 404kW (550ps) with an electric motor generating 100kW (136ps). The system output boasts 500kW (680ps), the highest ever for a Cayenne, achieving 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 295km/h.

The price for the Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid is 23.27 million yen, and for the Cayenne Turbo SE Hybrid Coupe, it is 23.76 million yen. The domestic launch date is yet to be determined.

Additionally, on the same September 13, Porsche Japan also began accepting reservations for the new Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe. This model is priced at 12.76 million yen.
