Personalization is Possible, with a Wide Range of Optional Packs Available

The Defender, completely redesigned for the first time in 71 years. While two pre-order models have been released so far, this is the official launch.
Both models are powered by a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 221kW (300ps) and a maximum torque of 400Nm. It incorporates the latest technologies, such as an idling stop function and regenerative energy reuse.
The body utilizes a newly developed "D7x" architecture, Land Rover's strongest ever body structure, made from a lightweight aluminum monocoque. Compared to traditional ladder frame structures, it offers three times the torsional rigidity and achieves weight reduction.
Land Rover's traditional full-time four-wheel drive adjusts torque distribution between the front and rear wheels even on challenging surfaces like sand and snow. The "Terrain Response 2" system, which automatically controls vehicle settings for suspension, transmission, and traction according to road conditions, offers seven modes to maximize performance on and off-road.
It is also equipped with safety features, including emergency braking, lane keep assist, and cruise control.
Inside, the latest infotainment system, "Pivi Pro," is adopted for the first time by Jaguar Land Rover. By inserting a SIM card for constant internet connectivity, a wide variety of online services can be enjoyed, and the AI can learn and guide the driver along preferred routes.
Two body types are available: the 3-door, 5-seater "90" and the 5-door "110," which can seat five or seven with an optional third row. Grades include the standard "S," "SE," and "HSE" models, as well as the "First Edition," limited to the first year of production.
Personalization is also possible, with over 170 accessories to choose from based on purpose and preference. Additionally, four accessory packs featuring distinctive options and functions are available, along with five "Curated Specs" prepared by Jaguar Land Rover Japan for the domestic market.
Body colors include Fuji White and Santorini Black, among seven total options. Prices range from 4.99 million yen to 7.39 million yen for the "90," and 5.89 million yen to 8.20 million yen for the "110."
