Maserati is transitioning to electrification to enhance its environmental performance. Following the diesel Ghibli, the Levante diesel, which is ending production, now appears as a special limited edition.
The Levante diesel was introduced to Japan in May 2017 as Maserati's entry-level SUV.
The "Final Edition" being released this time is equipped with the popular "Zephyrus 19-inch Matte Black Wheels." It also includes popular options such as LED headlights and the Premium Package.
The powertrain is a 3-liter V6 diesel turbo engine producing a maximum output of 275 ps and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. It drives all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The body colors and sales quantities are limited to a total of 24 units: 6 in Blu Emozione, 9 in Grigio Maratea (grey), and 9 in Nero Ribelle (black). The price is 11.35 million yen.
