The 2024 Model Pursues Total Balance to the Highest Level
Nissan Motor Corporation unveiled the 2024 model of the NISSAN GT-R, scheduled for announcement and release this spring, at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023, which opened on the 13th. The venue will feature the "NISSAN GT-R Premium edition T-spec" and the "NISSAN GT-R NISMO Special edition."
Improved Aerodynamics for a Refined Ride
The Nissan GT-R, a premium supercar boasting overwhelming performance, has continuously evolved under the concept of "pursuing the ultimate driving pleasure." Nissan states that the 2024 model unveiled this time pursues not only speed but also a refined ride, achieving a high level of total balance.
At the unveiling event for the model, COO Ashwani Gupta stated, "This model, which combines cutting-edge technology with craftsmanship and adopts a new design, should be the culmination of the R35 generation."
A key feature of the 2024 GT-R model is the improved aerodynamics, which result in a refined ride. While maintaining maximum output, the car achieves a sophisticated and resonant sound by reducing unnecessary noise and vibration during driving, also pursuing in-cabin comfort.
The special edition "GT-R Premium edition T-spec," named from the desire to be a "Trend Maker" leading the era and the concept of being a "Traction Master" that firmly grips the ground and drives, adopts a dedicated suspension setting and exclusive carbon-ceramic brakes, achieving both a more supple and high-quality ride and the joy of intuitive control.
The "NISSAN GT-R NISMO," which is more specialized for circuit driving, maximizes racing technology, enhancing aerodynamic performance and suspension tuning, and improving cornering performance by adding a front mechanical LSD, delivering the highest performance in GT-R history.
The dedicated RECARO carbon back bucket seats have also been redesigned, enhancing not only the sense of unity with the car but also comfort. Furthermore, the "GT-R NISMO Special edition" features high-precision, weight-balanced engine components for the piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshaft, along with a NISMO-exclusive carbon engine hood (with NACA duct) with a clear coat finish.
