Orders Open for the Top-Tier 911 Turbo S Model, Boasting the Fastest Acceleration in 911 Turbo History
On March 31 (Tuesday), Porsche Japan began accepting orders for the 911's top-tier models, the "911 Turbo S" and "911 Turbo S Cabriolet."

0-200 km/h Acceleration: 8.9 Seconds, a Full Second Faster Than the Predecessor
Orders have opened for the "911 Turbo S," which made its world premiere just this March.
The new Turbo S is equipped with a 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder, twin-turbocharged boxer engine that produces 478 kW (650 PS) and 800 Nm of torque—an increase of 51 kW (70 PS) and 50 Nm over the previous generation.
Combined with the turbo-specific 8-speed "PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung)" and the "PTM (Porsche Traction Management)" all-wheel-drive system, and benefiting from a redesigned charge-air cooling system, symmetrically arranged large VTG turbochargers, and piezo injectors, the car achieves a top speed of 330 km/h. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than its predecessor. Furthermore, its 0-200 km/h acceleration is a remarkable 8.9 seconds, a full second quicker than the previous model.
Pricing starts at ¥28,920,000 for the 911 Turbo S and ¥31,800,000 for the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.
