Renault Twingo GT Turbo Gets a Power Boost
The Renault Twingo GT Turbo, with its compact and charming body and responsive 1.2-liter turbo engine, offers a nimble and powerful driving experience. The newly released limited edition, the Coupe des Alpes, enhances this performance further with specially developed parts.
The body reinforcement kit increases torsional rigidity, improving handling, ride comfort, and braking stability. Furthermore, the lightweight forged alloy wheels are 3.6kg lighter per wheel than the standard ones, significantly reducing unsprung weight, which greatly impacts driving performance.
Inheriting Jean Rédélé's Spirit
The "Coupe des Alpes" refers to a traditional French Alpine rally. Jean Rédélé, the founder of Alpine, the predecessor to Renault Sport, won this rally in 1954 driving a Renault 4CV. In commemoration, models announced thereafter were named "Alpine." The limited edition Coupe des Alpes inherits Jean Rédélé's rally spirit. It is limited to 22 units and priced at ¥2,222,000.
