A Manifesto for an Unprecedented New Model

Rolls-Royce, a globally recognized luxury car brand, currently offers five models, with the four-door saloon "Phantom" as its flagship. These include its two-door model, the Phantom Coupé, the convertible Phantom Drophead Coupé, the recently updated saloon "Ghost", and the fastback-style two-door model "Wraith".

This year, as Rolls-Royce celebrates its 111th anniversary, British Prime Minister David Cameron visited the Goodwood factory and revealed that the company is working on a new model.

In the spirit of founder Sir Henry Royce's famous words, ""Design it when it does not exist," the car under development will be a model unlike any Rolls-Royce has produced before.

The concept is outlined in six points:
"A vehicle that possesses Rolls-Royce's signature luxury and can traverse any terrain."
"A vehicle that matches the owner's desired performance and modern lifestyle."
"Embodying the pioneering spirit of Charles Rolls, an adventurer, and the relentless innovative spirit of engineer Sir Henry Royce."
"A vehicle that reflects the serene luxury promised by the Rolls-Royce brand."
"An all-aluminum vehicle with a high ride height."
"A unique vehicle worthy of carrying the 'Spirit of Ecstasy' into the future."
These points suggest a high-riding, all-aluminum all-rounder with Rolls-Royce's characteristic luxury, akin to what is commonly known as an SUV or crossover.

When considering premium SUVs from British brands, the market has recently seen increased activity with models such as Land Rover's historic "

Range Rover,Range Rover" which Jaguar announced would go into production last year, and "F-Pace", as well as Bentley, which shares a historical connection with Rolls-Royce as former sister brands, advancing development of its "Bentayga".

While anticipation is high for models with unique characteristics from each brand, the question remains how Rolls-Royce will materialize its concept. Although only a statement has been released thus far, with no specific details such as design sketches or a roadmap, we will continue to report on this new cross-country vehicle from the most luxurious brand as soon as further information becomes available.
