A Special Model Featuring the Birthplace of the Peugeot Brand as an Icon

The Peugeot "2008 Crosscity" being released is a limited edition model that uses a compass design, symbolizing the birthplace of the Peugeot brand, with blue, the brand's color, as an accent. The exterior features a compass badge and stickers indicating the latitude and longitude of the city of Sochaux.

The interior features combination seats of Alcantara and Tep leather with a compass logo. The door grips, center console, and parts of the seats are finished in a vibrant matte blue. Furthermore, stylish features are enhanced, including a steering wheel with perforations and special stitching, a parking brake with blue accents, and a compass design repeated on the floor mats.

The powertrain is the same as the regular model: a 1.2-liter inline 3-cylinder gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 60 kW (62 ps) and a maximum torque of 118 Nm (12.0 kgm), paired with a single-clutch 5-speed ETG semi-automatic transmission. It boasts a fuel economy of 18.5 km/ℓ under the JC08 mode.

Despite being a limited edition of 100 units with special equipment and accents that highlight Peugeot's character, the price is 2.65 million yen, only 590,000 yen higher than the base model "2008 Premium." Two body colors are available: Pearl White and Carado Blue.
