Engine options include a 2-liter diesel and a 3-liter gasoline.

Following the station wagon variant, the A6 Avant, the redesigned A6 Sedan has now been unveiled.
Notable features include its sharply sculpted design and a drag coefficient of 0.23, the lowest ever for a mass-produced Audi model with an internal combustion engine.
The front design features slim headlights and prominent Audi four rings, creating an expressive face along with the large, low-set Singleframe grille.
The rear also boasts intricately detailed taillights, connected by an integrated light strip that lends the new A6 Sedan its distinctive presence.
The distinctive shape of the notchback also significantly contributes to the car's aerodynamic performance. A sharp curve at the tailgate, coupled with a recess just before it, is said to create optimal airflow separation. Combined with a large, wide diffuser, this enhances driving dynamics.
For those seeking a sportier driving experience, optional features include adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering, which provides direct steering response and allows the rear wheels to turn up to five degrees in the opposite direction of the front wheels at low speeds, improving maneuverability in urban environments.
Powertrain options include two types: gasoline and diesel. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine produces a maximum output of 150 kW (204 PS), while the 3.0-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine generates 270 kW (367 PS).
Both are equipped with mild-hybrid technology, providing up to 230 Nm of additional torque and up to 18 kW (24 PS) of electrical power. During deceleration, up to 25 kW of recuperated energy can be recovered.
The A6 Sedan is already available for order in its home market of Germany. Its arrival in Japan is eagerly anticipated.
