A Limited Edition Model with Diverse Equipment

FCA Japan, which this year began integrating the Chrysler, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Abarth brands as an importer in line with its parent company, was formerly Fiat Chrysler Japan. The first special edition vehicle announced by FCA Japan for the Jeep brand is the "Compass Blackhawk," a compact SUV "Compass" equipped with a variety of features.

The base vehicle is the "Compass Altitude Sport," an entry-grade model announced last year. The powertrain remains unchanged, featuring a 1,998cc inline four-cylinder engine producing a maximum output of 115kW (156ps) and a maximum torque of 190Nm (19.4kgm), paired with a CVT, driving the front wheels.

The Blackhawk is characterized by its extensive standard equipment. Comfort features include the DIATONE sound navigation system (manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric), a rearview camera for safe parking, and a Panasonic nanoe ion generator with a special Jeep logo, known for its mold-inhibiting and deodorizing effects. Additionally, a special edition Jeep folding bicycle, painted to match the vehicle's body color, is included.

The Compass Blackhawk is a limited edition of 200 units, with 100 units in Bright White and 100 units in Black. Despite including approximately 300,000 yen worth of equipment, the price is set at 2,916,000 yen, an increase of about 70,000 yen over the base model.
