Tokyo Motor Show 2019: Nissan premieres the IMk EV concept car worldwide
Nissan Motor Corporation announced its exhibition details for the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, including the world premiere of the EV concept car, the NISSAN IMk.
The GT-R, celebrating its 50th anniversary, will be displayed in two models: the "50th Anniversary" and the "GT-R NISMO."
At the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, Nissan will showcase 14 models, focusing on advanced technologies such as EV models and the ProPILOT 2.0 driver assistance system.
Making its world debut is the "NISSAN IMk," a concept model for an EV city commuter. Nissan claims that despite its compact size, adhering to kei car regulations, it offers powerful and smooth driving performance unique to EVs.
Furthermore, it features ProPILOT 2.0, an advanced driver assistance system whose operational range has been expanded from highways to major arterial roads. It also includes features such as a valet parking function, where the car autonomously finds a parking space and parks itself, and can be summoned by the driver via smartphone when needed.
