Based on Volkswagen's compact hatchback, the "Polo" Polo," the CrossPolo adopts a refined image with dedicated bumpers and other features, finished with an SUV-like flair. "CrossPolo" has arrived. It is the second family model following the new Polo, which went on sale in August.New Polo" went on sale in August.

Like the Polo, the powertrain combines a 1.2-liter inline 4-cylinder TSI engine with a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch) transmission, driving the front wheels. It also incorporates BlueMotion Technology, consisting of Start/Stop and brake energy regeneration, improving fuel efficiency by 16 percent to 21.9 km/ℓ.

The exterior features dedicated bumpers, side skirts, silver-painted door mirrors, and extension trims for the wheel arches, along with a 15mm increase in ground clearance, creating an active, SUV-like appearance.

Five body colors are available, including two new shades. Among them, the orange hue, traditionally the image color, has been changed to a more subdued "Honey Orange Metallic." The interior also features beige, red, or gray accents on parts of the seats and door trims, coordinated with the body color.

The latest safety equipment introduced in the new Polo has also been adopted. Standard features include Front Assist Plus to help avoid or mitigate rear-end collisions with preceding vehicles, City Emergency Brake which activates emergency braking below 30 km/h, and Multi Collision Brake System to help avoid multiple collisions.

Additionally, a rich array of optional equipment is available, such as bi-xenon headlights with LED position lamps, a cruise control system capable of adaptive driving, and genuine navigation.

The new CrossPolo, like its predecessor, is offered in a single grade, with a price including consumption tax set at 2.75 million yen.
