A Limited Edition Lutecia Featuring a Panoramic Roof

Renault has announced the "Lutecia Claire," a special edition of its hatchback model "Lutecia" equipped with a panoramic roof. It goes on sale today in a limited run of 100 units.

A Car Where Color Coordination is Key

Renault Japon has unveiled the "Claire," a special limited edition of the "Lutecia," first introduced in Japan in 2013. This model comes standard with a panoramic roof, which is not even available as an option on the regular models. Sales begin on November 6th.

The Lutecia Claire is based on the "Intense," the luxury grade of the Lutecia, powered by a 1.2-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine that produces 88kW (120ps) of maximum power and 190Nm (19.4kgm) of maximum torque.

In addition to the glass roof, the exterior features 17-inch Rouge alloy wheels and Rouge metallic finishers. The interior also boasts a matching Rouge interior pack, unifying the color scheme of the steering wheel, air vents, and door trim.

The body colors offered are Blanc Glacier, a white shade that contrasts with the red accents inside and out, or Gris Cassiopée, a shade of gray.

Despite its special equipment, the Lutecia Claire is priced at 2,498,000 yen, just 50,000 yen more than the Intense. It is a limited edition of only 100 units.
