Audi AG announced that on October 19, the final round of the German Touring Car Masters (DTM), it will hold a demonstration of the "RS7 piloted driving concept" at the Hockenheimring circuit. This concept car is equipped with the latest autonomous driving technology in the Audi "RS7 Sportback" RS7 Sportback, and will showcase sports driving on a circuit unmanned.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the RS7 piloted driving concept attacks the circuit with millimetre precision to the physical limit, with reaction times comparable to a professional driver. The top speed during this demonstration will reach 240 km/h, and the predicted time based on previous tests is expected to be just over two minutes.

Audi explains that through this event, it wants to demonstrate the great potential of autonomous driving that premium brands will likely implement in the future.
