Achieving a More Refined Ride Quality
Regarding the driving dynamics, improvements to the precision of the front suspension's shock absorbers and springs have resulted in a more refined ride. Concurrently, enhancing the rigidity of the rear suspension's radius rod bushes provides a more direct connection to the road surface. Furthermore, the adoption of the Spec V's rear diffuser, featuring cooling ducts, across all models aims to improve cooling performance around the rear floor area.
For the Spec V model specifically, changes to the rear suspension shock absorber characteristics have been implemented to achieve a smoother ride and flatter handling. In conjunction with these characteristic changes, Dunlop tires are now standard equipment, with the previous Bridgestone tires available as a manufacturer option.

Improved Low- to Mid-Speed Engine Response
In terms of the engine, both the "NISSAN GT-R" and "NISSAN GT-R Spec V" models benefit from improved low- to mid-speed engine response, achieved through the adoption of catalytic converter cells with a hexagonal mesh structure that offers reduced airflow resistance.
In other updates, the in-car entertainment system now features an HDD-based Carwings navigation system with a built-in digital TV tuner utilizing four diversity antennas. USB connectivity for devices like iPods is also now possible.
Additionally, by installing the data logger kit (tentative name) planned for separate release by Nismo (Nissan Motor International), data from the multi-function meter can be easily downloaded via USB.
Despite these various enhancements, the vehicle's price remains unchanged.
