Positioned Between the Standard Model and the Lutecia Renault Sport

In its home country of France, it was released last June under the name "Clio GT 120 EDC" The "Lutecia GT," which adopts "R.S. DRIVE" that allows switching from comfortable daily driving to sporty performance, has landed in Japan. This Lutecia GT is positioned between the standard model and the hot hatch "Lutecia Renault Sport."

The body, measuring 4,095mm in length, 1,750mm in width, and 1,445mm in height, with a curb weight of 1,210kg, is powered by the same 1.2-liter inline-4 turbo engine as the standard model. It produces a maximum output of 88kW (120ps) at 4,900rpm and a maximum torque of 190Nm (19.4kgm) at 2,000rpm. The transmission is a 6-speed dual-clutch "6EDC."

The "R.S. DRIVE" changes the engine characteristics. It offers a choice between "Normal Mode," prioritizing daily comfort, and "Sport Mode," for an enjoyable sporty drive. Quick gear changes are possible in manual mode using the paddles mounted on the steering column.



Furthermore, the suspension, tuned by Renault Sport, which handles Renault's motorsport activities, features front spring rates 40 percent higher and front damper damping force 30 percent higher than the standard model.

In addition to a body incorporating Renault's new design language, the dedicated front bumper with integrated LED lamps, dedicated gray metallic rear under protector, and R.S. rear spoiler create a sporty atmosphere. The interior is also equipped with "GT" logo sports seats and a leather steering wheel, identical in shape to those in the Renault Sport models. Moreover, the "sound" tuning has also been refined with dedicated chrome dual exhaust pipes.

The body is available in four colors, including "Blue Malte Metallic" and "Rouge Flamme Metallic," priced at 2.59 million yen.
