Discovery Limited Edition with Black Accents

Jaguar Land Rover Japan has introduced a limited edition "Black Edition" for its SUV model, the Discovery. Sales will begin on Saturday, July 12th, with a limited run of 50 units.

Elegant Ivory Trim Finishers for the Interior

In April of this year,New York Auto Show, a study model leading to the next generation, the "Discovery Vision Concept", was unveiled. In the UK, it was also announced that the 2015 model would be the final iteration of the current "Discovery". 2014 modelFrom the "2014 model", significant improvements were made, including improved fuel efficiency through engine downsizing and revised equipment. Now, the "Discovery Black Edition" limited model offers a chance to fully appreciate the refined current Discovery.

Based on the "Discovery 3.0 V6 SE", which is powered by a 3-liter V6 supercharged engine boasting a maximum output of 250kW (340ps) and a peak torque of 450Nm (45.9kgm), the Black Design Pack, applied to key areas from the grille vanes to the roof rails, creates a sharp and sophisticated styling.

Meanwhile, the interior features Grand Ivory interior trim finishers. In terms of functionality, new safety features have been incorporated, such as "Blind Spot Monitor", which warns of approaching vehicles in blind spots during lane changes, and "Reverse Traffic Detection", which uses sensors to detect approaching vehicles when reversing.

Body colors are available in three options: Fuji White, Santorini Black, and Firenze Red. A limited 50 units will be sold, with the price set at 7,343,000 yen, which is 393,000 yen higher than the base grade "Discovery 3.0 V6 SE".
