Alpine White Body Color Symbolizes BMW's Race Cars

The "Z4 sDrive20i GT Spirit" is a special limited model released to celebrate the 1-2 finish in the GT300 class at the opening round of "SUPER GT 2014," Japan's premier touring car race, held at Okayama International Circuit in April. "Good Smile Racing & Team UKYO," using the "BMW Z4 GT3," took first place, while "BMW Sports Trophy Team Studio," driven by BMW's works driver Jörg Müller, secured second.

Based on the "Z4 sDrive20i M Sport," which is powered by a 2-liter inline-4 engine delivering a maximum output of 135 kW (184 ps) at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 270 Nm (27.5 kgm) at 1,250-4,500 rpm, this special edition adopts Alpine White, the pure white that symbolizes BMW's motorsport theme colors, for its body.

It also features special equipment such as a black kidney grille that emphasizes the front face, a rear diffuser that not only reduces air resistance but also gives the car a dynamic impression, and 19-inch M light-alloy wheels, creating a styling that evokes a race car.



The interior comes standard with the "Design Pure Traction" interior design package, featuring black sports seats combining Alcantara and leather, accented with orange stitching and highlights. The metal weave interior trim, which creates a sporty impression with its vivid color contrast, and the specially adopted aluminum pedal set combine to recreate a sporty atmosphere.

This "Z4 sDrive20i GT Spirit" will be on display at the BMW Group Studio in Marunouchi, Tokyo, from July 8 (Tuesday) to July 27 (Sunday). Furthermore, the actual GT300 race car will be exhibited alongside it until July 13 (Sunday).

The release is scheduled for August 30 (Saturday). Production is limited to 60 units, with a price of 6.09 million yen.
