A World Evoked by Exclusive Decals on a Black Body

During World War II, Willys-Overland, the company that would become the root of Jeep, developed the first "Willys" Jeep at the request of the American military. Deployed in combat from 1941, it served as a vital Allied vehicle, boasting a robust body and exceptional off-road capability. Now, bearing this historic name and the moniker "Wheeler," signifying an "enthusiastic off-roader," comes the "Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler Edition," a limited model with enhanced off-road performance.

The "Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler Edition" is based on the five-door "Wrangler Unlimited Sport," which features a 3.6-liter engine delivering a maximum output of 209 kW (284 ps) at 6,350 rpm and peak torque of 347 Nm (35.4 kgm) at 4,300 rpm. To improve off-road capability, it is equipped with body-side rock rails to protect the chassis in harsh environments like rocky terrain, and a limited-slip differential that transfers power to the wheel with traction when one wheel loses grip. Furthermore, the final drive ratio has been changed from the standard model's 3.214 to a more power-focused, lower gear ratio of 3.73.



The exterior is further distinguished by "4 Wheel Drive" and "WILLYS" decals on the rear gate and hood. The exclusive gloss black wheels feature a white "Jeep Willys" silhouette, creating a unique aesthetic befitting a limited edition. The body is finished in a special Granite Crystal Metallic, and a dedicated black grille on the front enhances its sharp appearance.

Only 150 units will be available. The price is ¥3,888,000, which is ¥97,200 higher than the base "Wrangler Unlimited Sport."
