A Citroen C3 Special Edition Featuring a Luxurious Leather Interior

On the 19th, Peugeot Citroen Japon announced the "C3 Leather Edition," a special edition of the Citroen compact hatchback "C3" that uses leather for its interior to create a sense of luxury. Sales have begun.

New Exclusive Body Color: Blue Virtuel

The "C3" is Citroen's entry-level model in Japan. It is a 5-door hatchback characterized by its "Zenith Windshield" that extends overhead,received a facelift last Julyandin February of this year, its powertrain was updated to a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine and a 5-speed single-clutch transmission "ETG5"just recently.

This 1.2-liter engine, shared with models like the Peugeot "208" and Citroen "DS3," produces a maximum output of 60 kW (82 ps) at 5,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 118 Nm (12.0 kgm) at 2,750 rpm. Fuel efficiency has improved by 57 percent compared to the previous model, significantly enhanced to 19.0 km/ℓ.

The "C3 Leather Edition," based on the entry-grade Seduction, features Mistral (black) leather seats for the interior. This is combined with a brilliant black dashboard and center console, exuding a sense of luxury. Furthermore, it is equipped with the sophisticated "Parfum Air Freshener," which can hold a perfume bottle next to the air conditioning vents. The exterior is fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels.

The "C3 Leather Edition" comes in exclusive body colors: Blue Virtuel, limited to 90 units; Blanc Perle Nacré (white), 60 units; and Rouge Rubis (red), 50 units. The price is set at 2.2 million yen, an increase of 110,000 yen from the entry-grade Seduction.
