This new model, which Bentley Motors Chairman and CEO predicts will "pioneer a completely new segment in the SUV market," will embody all the hallmarks of Bentley: luxury, performance, quality, and craftsmanship.

While only one image has been released, its appearance—featuring four round headlights of varying sizes and a signature trapezoidal mesh grille—clearly marks it as a Bentley, sharing the unmistakable face with the "Continental" series, recently refined for the Geneva Motor Show, and the "Flying Spur," which gained a V8 engine option.Geneva Motor ShowContinentalFlying SpurThe evolution from design sketch to image suggests development is progressing smoothly.

At the concept stage, the EXP 9 F was slated to feature a 6-liter W12 twin-turbo engine producing up to 800Nm of torque. Furthermore, V8 and V6 hybrid options were mentioned, though the final engine choices for the production model remain unannounced.

Bentley plans to sell approximately 3,000 units of this new SUV annually starting in 2016. The following year, the company also announced the arrival of its first-ever plug-in hybrid model.
