TTS Arrives in Japan to Commemorate 500,000 TT Units Produced
Audi's "TT Coupe" welcomes the "TTS Coupe Competition," a limited edition of 500 units worldwide with only 30 allocated to Japan, and three "Ultimate Series" models.
The "TTS Coupe Competition" commemorates the production of 500,000 TT units and was launched in Germany last summer. The base vehicle is the "TTS," a quattro all-wheel-drive model equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine producing 200kW (272ps), capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds. The addition of a rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a fixed wing with matte silver accents enhances its presence.
The interior features grey Impulse leather seats with yellow stitching, a steering wheel, and an interior badge with a serial number, further emphasizing the TT's inherent sportiness. Body colors include exclusive Nimbus Grey and Imola Yellow.
Additionally, three "Ultimate Series" models have been introduced as special editions of the "TT Coupe." The "TT Coupe 2.0TFSI quattro S line package" is available in Glacier White and Phantom Black, offering a monochrome and simple color scheme.
Furthermore, the "TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI S line Competition," which comes standard with exclusive parts including a black-themed singleframe grille, mirror covers, rear spoiler, and 19-inch alloy wheels in addition to the regular S line package, and the "TT Coupe 1.8TFSI Leather Package," where the fine Nappa leather used in the interior can be selected from three colors, will also be available.
The Refined and Sporty "Q3"
The Audi compact SUV "Q3" also sees the birth of a limited edition of 200 units, the "Q3 S line Competition." The base model is the entry-grade "2.0 TFSI quattro 170ps," which delivers a maximum output of 125kW (170ps) / 4,300-6,200rpm and a peak torque of 280Nm (28.6kgm) / 1,700-4,200rpm.
In addition to the S line package, it is equipped with the "Black Styling Package," which finishes the singleframe grille and side window moldings in black. Furthermore, 19-inch alloy wheels are fitted, enhancing its sophisticated appearance. Body colors include Misano Red, Phantom Black, and Glacier White.
Prices, including 5% consumption tax, are as follows: "TTS Coupe Competition" at 7.24 million yen, "TT Coupe 2.0TFSI quattro S line package" at 5.43 million yen, "TT 1.8 TFSI S line Competition" at 4.47 million yen, "TT Coupe 1.8TFSI Leather Package" at 4.47 million yen, and "Q3 S line Competition" at 4.97 million yen.
