McLaren 650S World Premiere in Geneva



British marque McLaren Automotive, which ushered in a new era for the previously stagnant supercar world with the launch of the "MP4-12C," will unveil a new model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. This new car is a culmination of McLaren's 50-year history and achievements in motorsport.

650PS: A Hint at Its Maximum Output?


McLaren Automotive, the manufacturer that develops and sells road-going supercars as a group company of the prestigious British F1 team McLaren, will give the new "McLaren 650S" its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The "McLaren 650S," designed to offer supercar enthusiasts the highest level of driving and emotional experience, is built upon the know-how and pride accumulated over McLaren's 50-year motorsport heritage. The '650' in its name is said to directly refer to its maximum output of 650ps. This model boasts not only performance derived from its exceptional high power but also class-leading design and comfort.

While only its emblem has been revealed so far, McLaren Cars explains that this is a newly developed, state-of-the-art model that fuses the driving performance of the McLarenMP4-12C, which redefined the standards for sports cars, with a super machine that offers even greater performance than the MP4-12C, with only 375 units being produced as a limited edition McLarenP1.
