A Model That Further Emphasizes High Performance

The M3 Coupe "Frozen Silver Edition" is a special edition model that further accentuates the M3's character. First, the body color features "Frozen Silver," which is not available on the standard M3 Coupe and highlights its dynamic design. The paint, which emphasizes a metallic texture more than regular gloss, makes the body's contours stand out, creating a sculpted finish.

This body color is paired with matte black-painted 19-inch M Light Alloy wheels, further enhancing the exterior's imposing presence. The kidney grilles and exhaust tailpipes, which are normally chrome-finished, are rendered in dark chrome. This contrast with the body color is said to create a sporty aesthetic.

The roof panel, rear spoiler, and mirror covers are made from lightweight carbon fiber.
This carbon material is also incorporated into the interior trim, and combined with the Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, it creates a cabin atmosphere reminiscent of a motorsport vehicle.

Furthermore, EDC (Electronic Damper Control) is standard equipment. Unlike the standard M3 Coupe, the settings for this system monitor the vehicle's behavior even in "SPORTS" mode, optimizing damping characteristics. The DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) also features special settings, enabling sportier driving.

The M3 Frozen Silver Edition is priced at 12.43 million yen. The car is scheduled to be exhibited at the BMW booth during the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011.
