A Model Dressed in the Exclusive "High Class Grey Metallic"

The "MINI Crystal" announced this time is a special edition based on the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S. The "Crystal" name is said to originate from the "Crystal Palace," a crystal palace built for the first World's Fair held in London in 1851. As the name suggests, the car's most distinctive feature is its exclusive "High Class Grey Metallic" body color, which exudes brilliance.

The exterior features bonnet stripes with a pattern reminiscent of crystal, along with exclusive side scuttles, mirror caps, and 17-inch Twin Blade Spoke wheels.

The interior features leather lounge seats in a two-tone color scheme of Satellite Grey and Carbon Black, creating a sense of unity with the matching leather steering wheel.

In addition, a host of exclusive equipment is provided, including specially designed interior surfaces, floor mats, and exclusive glove box buttons. The total value of these features is approximately ¥900,000 for the MINI Cooper and ¥800,000 for the MINI Cooper S. However, the actual selling prices are kept to an increase of ¥560,000 for the MINI Cooper (¥3,170,000 for MT, ¥3,300,000 for AT), ¥480,000 for the MT MINI Cooper S (¥3,510,000), and ¥390,000 for the AT MINI Cooper S (¥3,690,000), resulting in an attractive price.

An optional leather-finished dashboard is also available exclusively for this "MINI Crystal." This model is scheduled to be a limited production run until August 2012.
