A Boxer Engine with 408ps in Pure Blue
In 2011, "Porsche Exclusive" celebrates its 25th anniversary. This model, announced to commemorate the milestone of this in-house division specializing in customization and tailoring, having undergone testing at Weissach for all Porsche cars, both racing and production models, is the "Porsche 911 Speedster" that has just been unveiled.
Equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine, this car generates a maximum output of 300kW (408ps), exceeding the 911 Carrera S by 23ps, and boasts performance equivalent to the recently announced "911 Carrera GTS." In terms of fuel consumption, it achieves an average fuel consumption of 10.3ℓ/100km (NEDC compliant), a figure comparable to the GTS. It achieves both a powerful powertrain based on the Porsche Intelligent Performance concept and high environmental performance.

The engine's power is transmitted to the rear axle via the 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and the standard limited-slip rear differential. The Porsche Active Suspension Management system (PASM) and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are also standard equipment. Furthermore, the rollover protection system, standard on all open-top Porsche cars, has been further improved, promising enhanced safety.
Born as a testament to advanced technology, this commemorative model comes with all optional equipment from the 911 series as standard. The interior, meanwhile, is handcrafted by artisans. Black smooth leather, meticulously detailed, and adaptive sports seats feature a checkerboard motif in the center.
The body is finished in a special color developed for this model, "Pure Blue." The leather-covered bolsters are dyed in the same hue to match.
The exterior features tinted headlights, headlight rings, and a front windshield frame, all finished in black, creating a unified and simple two-tone aesthetic that defines the car's character.
Compared to previous 911 models, the chassis is lowered by 60mm, and features include a raked windshield and a body widened by 44mm, despite being a rear-wheel-drive 2WD.
Carrara White is also available as a body color, and it is equipped with a specially designed front apron, side skirts, and rear apron. It will be sold for 29.69 million yen. It will be released in a limited edition of 6 units in Japan.
The car will have its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show, opening on September 30th.
