BMW X4 Adds the XDrive20d Model with a 2.0L Diesel Engine
BMW Japan has added the "XDrive20d," equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder clean diesel engine, to its mid-size crossover model "X4," and began sales on the same day.

The X4, a crossover model with a coupe design, first debuted in 2014 and underwent a full model change in 2018. It possesses the off-road capabilities unique to X models, along with driving performance suitable for all scenes, whether in the city or the countryside.
The newly installed 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder clean diesel engine produces a maximum output of 190ps (140kW) at 4,000rpm and a maximum torque of 400Nm at 1,750–2,500rpm, achieving a fuel efficiency of 14.0km/ℓ in WLTC mode.
BMW ConnectedDrive, which includes the "Driving Assistant Plus" safety and driver assistance system, featuring ACC and Steering & Lane Control Assist, as well as the smartphone app "BMW Connected" for personal assistant services, is also standard.
The price is 6.95 million yen for the xDrive20d and 7.74 million yen for the xDrive20d M Sport.
