Group PSA Japan has launched the "Crosscity BlueHDi" special edition for Peugeot's "5008" and "3008" SUVs, featuring a panoramic sunroof and more. Sales have begun.

The "Crosscity BlueHDi" special edition, designed for a more refined driving experience in both urban and off-road settings, has arrived for the 5-seater "3008" (launched in 2017) and the 7-seater "5008".

Both models are powered by a 2.0-liter diesel turbo engine producing a maximum output of 130kW (177ps) and a maximum torque of 400Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the Advanced Grip Control with Hill Descent Control has been added as a special feature, enhancing off-road capability.

The interior features luxurious Alcantara & Tep leather seats with multi-point lumbar support and front seat heating. The panoramic glass roof, a popular option, has also been included as a special feature, along with front door scuff plates and a hands-free electric tailgate.

Furthermore, styling is enhanced with a "CROSSCITY" emblem inspired by a compass, B-pillar stickers, and chrome door mirrors for a more sophisticated ambiance.

While the body color lineups differ, both offer four colors. The "Crosscity BlueHDi" special edition is priced at 4,799,000 yen for the "3008" and 5,049,000 yen for the "5008".
