Natural Texture, Contrasting Hues

The "A8 Audi exclusive concept," featuring leather supplied by the Italian luxury interior brand Poltrona Frau, has been unveiled. This special edition is based on the "A8 L W12," the top-tier grade that boasts a maximum output of 368kW (500ps) and is equipped with a W12 engine in the long-wheelbase Audi A8.

There are no exterior changes; only the interior has been refined. The seats are upholstered in a particularly soft and naturally textured cognac-colored aniline leather provided by Poltrona Frau. Diamond quilting adorns the center sections of the seats.



The center console and trim sections are finished in silver brown fine-grained olive ash, creating a beautiful harmony with the granite brown used for the seat centers, stitching, and piping. This granite brown is also featured on the Nappa leather that covers the steering wheel and the upper half of the dashboard.

The roof liner is finished in snow white Alcantara, and the rear shelf is in cognac brown Alcantara. In addition to these interior details, specially crafted door sill plates are also fitted.



This special vehicle will be produced in a limited run of just 50 units by quattro GmbH, based in Neckarsulm, Germany, by March 2014.
