Its powertrain features a plug-in hybrid system, combining a 4.0 TFSI V8 twin-turbo engine with an electric motor. The engine alone delivers a maximum output of 412 kW (560 hp) and a peak torque of 700 Nm (71.3 kgm). With the addition of the electric motor, which produces 110 kW (149.5 hp) and 400 Nm (40.7 kgm), the combined maximum output reaches 515 kW (700 hp) and a formidable 800 Nm (81.5 kgm) of torque.

It is equipped with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and, naturally, quattro all-wheel drive. The vehicle's weight is kept to a mere 1,850 kg, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h. Despite its performance, it also boasts excellent environmental credentials, with an average fuel consumption of 2.5 L/100 km (approximately 40 km/L) and CO2 emissions of just 59 g/km.

In this video, the mountain road that the Sport quattro Concept ascends features a unique twist: all the road signs and warning markers have been replaced with numbers. These numbers visually represent the increasing number of "likes," culminating in the literal "breakthrough" of 100,000.
