The R-Design is a special model that balances sporty, refined styling and dynamic driving performance with comfort, featuring a powerful wide & low stance with its sporty air intakes and sharp, frameless black front grille, as well as design elements inside and out, and even the chassis.


Volvo's renowned safety performance is enhanced across all models with the standard City Safety system, an automatic emergency brake for low-speed collisions with an operating speed increased from 30 km/h to 50 km/h. Additionally, the T6 AWD R-Design model features the Safety Package, a set of 10 advanced safety and driver assistance functions. This package includes the Human Safety automatic emergency brake system that detects pedestrians and cyclists, and the BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) radar-based blind spot assist function, with other models offering it as an option.


The S60 sedan and V60 wagon are available in two variants: the T4 R-Design, equipped with a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine, and the T6 AWD R-Design, a powerful 3-liter inline 6-cylinder all-wheel-drive model. The exterior features newly designed dual sports tailpipes, while the interior is enhanced with newly designed dedicated sports seats, steering wheel, and a digital LCD meter with a dedicated theme color.


The T6 models also incorporate 19-inch dedicated alloy wheels for the first time, and a newly adopted paddle shift system combined with a sport mode reportedly improves acceleration from a standstill.

The XC60 R-Design: A Crossover with an Aggressive Presence

The sporty crossover "XC60 R-Design," which blends coupe styling with a powerful SUV design, is available in two models: the "T5 R-Design," equipped with a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine and a 6-speed PowerShift transmission, and the "T6 AWD R-Design." The latter features a 3-liter inline 6-cylinder turbo engine producing 304 ps and 440 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system.


Equipped with dedicated sports suspension and specially designed 20-inch alloy wheels, this model boasts a sporty and aggressive presence.
