Safety Driving Assistance System Standard on All Models
Since the debut of its first generation in 1998, the "M Class" has been a premium SUV that delivers excellent dynamic performance on both off-road and on-road terrains, complemented by a sporty and high-quality interior and exterior.The current, third-generation modelwasintroduced to Japan last Augustandjust celebrated its first anniversary since launch.
This update standardizes the "Radar Safety Package" across all models, which utilizes five millimetre-wave radar sensors and one camera to reduce the risk of collision with vehicles ahead and to the sides and rear. Additionally, the "360° Camera System," which provides an overhead view of the vehicle's surroundings via four cameras for easier maneuvering in parking spaces or narrow roads, is also standard, further supporting safe driving.
For the "ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC," which achieves excellent environmental performance with its clean diesel engine, the aluminum wheels have been upgraded from the previous 18-inch to 19-inch five twin-spoke aluminum wheels.
Furthermore, the high-end model, the "ML 63 AMG", equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, now comes standard with "stainless steel running boards" that add an accent to the body sides and improve ingress and egress. Rear seats also now include seat heaters.
Prices have increased by 100,000 yen for the entry-grade "ML 350 4MATIC," now priced at 7.6 million yen. The "ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC" with its clean diesel engine remains unchanged at 7.9 million yen, while the "ML 63 AMG" sees a 200,000 yen increase to 15.1 million yen.
