A Black GLK Appears
Mercedes-BenzJapan has launched the compact SUVGLK-Class with a special limited edition, the "GLK 350 4MATIC Edition SCHWARZ," featuring a unified black interior and exterior, limited to 100 units.

Equipped with Radar Safety Package
The "GLK 350 4MATIC Edition SCHWARZ," a special limited edition of 100 units released by Mercedes-Benz Japan, lives up to its name "SCHWARZ," meaning "black" in German. It features an obsidian black body color, paired with exclusive 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke aluminum wheels finished in high-gloss black paint. The interior is equally striking, finished with black ash wood trim and deep black leather ARTICO/DINAMICA, creating an all-black GLK.
The engine remains unchanged from the base compact SUV, the "GLK 350 4MATIC," featuring a V6 engine with a maximum output of 225 kW (306 ps) and a peak torque of 370 Nm (37.7 kgm). As the "4MATIC" designation suggests, it is equipped with a 4WD system.
In addition to the aforementioned black exterior and interior, this model comes standard with key optional features. These include the "AMG Sports Package," stainless steel running boards with rubber studs on the body sides, the "Memory Package" for electric seat position adjustment and easy entry for the front seats, a "360° Camera System," and "Active Parking Assist."
Furthermore, a notable addition is the "Radar Safety Package (RSP)" – a first for the GLK-Class. This system utilizes five millimeter-wave radar sensors and one camera to reduce the risk of collision with vehicles ahead and to the sides and rear.
The steering wheel is on the left, and the price is 6.84 million yen, compared to 5.99 million yen for the standard "GLK 350 4MATIC."
