Models Feature Standard Safety Equipment
Audi Japan has commenced sales of several models following minor revisions.
The models receiving these updates are the A1, A4, luxury models A6 and A7 Sportback, and sports models TT and R8.
For the A1 Sportback, an S line package is now available, featuring an aluminum-look finish for the air vent surrounds. The A4, in both sedan and Avant configurations, offers an optional S line exterior package that bundles the S line exterior, black headlining, and sports suspension.
The A6 and A7 Sportback now feature Audi active lane assist as standard equipment on models with the '3.0 TFSI quattro' engine. This system detects lane departures at speeds above 60 km/h and automatically corrects the steering to maintain the vehicle's course. It is available as an option for the A6 2.8 FSI quattro and A6 hybrid.
All TT models now come standard with adaptive headlights, and the design of the optional aluminum wheels has been updated. For the R8, the optional 19-inch aluminum wheels have been replaced with a new design featuring titanium-look five-spoke rims.
