Limited Edition Model with 6-Liter V12 Engine Arrives

BMW has announced the Japanese release of its flagship model,7 Seriesthe "7 Series V12 Bi-Turbo," a limited-production, made-to-order model featuring the company's renowned 6-liter V12 twin-power turbo engine, considered the pinnacle of modern engine technology. Orders opened on May 21st, with order acceptance closing at the end of August and deliveries scheduled to begin in October.

Exclusive Styling Befitting the Pinnacle, with Special M Division Equipment

The "BMW 7 Series V12 Bi-Turbo" is powered by a 6-liter V12 engine combined with twin turbochargers, high-precision direct injection, and Double VANOS (variable valve timing for intake and exhaust) in a twin-power turbo configuration. It produces a maximum output of 400kW (544ps) at 5,250rpm and a peak torque of 750Nm (76.5kgm) between 1,500 and 5,000rpm.

The exterior features the "M Aerodynamics Package" from the M Division. Furthermore, the kidney grille, a signature BMW element, and the dual twin exhaust tailpipes are finished in dark chrome. The M Division's bespoke equipment lends the styling a dynamic presence. The imposing 21-inch V-spoke alloy wheels (Style 463) are also part of the special equipment.

The interior utilizes exclusive Nappa leather and combines high-quality materials, such as black trim crafted using a piano lacquering technique similar to that used for pianos, creating a cabin befitting a top-tier model. Additionally, M Division's exclusive touches include contrast stitching in the interior, available in red-orange, black, or blue, and "V12" stitching on the headrests, enhancing the sense of exclusivity.

The body color selection includes 21 options, featuring five exclusive M model colors such as "Singapore Grey" and "Silverstone II," alongside other sporty hues.

The "7 Series V12 Bi-Turbo," reigning at the apex of the BMW lineup in both function and design, is available only in left-hand drive and is priced at 22.6 million yen.
