Available in Four Colors, Including a New Shade
The Peugeot "2008" is a key model in Peugeot's SUV range in Japan, accounting for 14 percent of domestic Peugeot car sales in 2018. Sales from January to April this year have shown strong performance, with a 35 percent increase compared to the previous year.
The "2008 GT Line Black Pack" emphasizes a fierce appearance with black accents on exterior parts such as the front lion emblem, grille, door mirrors, and rear spoiler, as well as black leather seats and black 17-inch alloy wheels.
The body colors are the new Quasar Blue, Hurricane Grey, Pearl White, and Ultimate Red. The lightweight body and the powertrain, a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo with 81kW (110ps) / 205Nm coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission, remain unchanged.
With a strategic price point of ¥2.99 million, undercutting the ¥3 million mark for imported compact SUVs, the model is priced at ¥2,990,000. The version with a panoramic glass sunroof is ¥3,099,000.
