Aggressively Blacked Out

A special model, the "Sport Edition," has arrived for Cadillac's full-size SUV, the Escalade.

The base model is the "Escalade Platinum." In addition to an all-black color scheme for both the body and interior—Sable Black with Jet Black/Jet Black accents—it features exclusive blacked-out parts for the front grille, bumper, liftgate accent, and 22-inch wheels.


There are no changes to the body dimensions—5,195mm long, 2,065mm wide, 1,910mm high, with a 2,950mm wheelbase—or to the performance specifications of the 6,153cc V8 OHV engine, which produces a maximum output of 313kW (426ps) at 5,600rpm and a maximum torque of 623Nm at 4,100rpm. The selectable 4WD system with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the left-hand drive, 7-seater configuration remain the same. The price is ¥14,094,000.
