Updated Design, Transmission, and Navigation

The new "CT6" is the first model to adopt the design of Cadillac's concept car "Escala," which debuted at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2016. The body features a low, flowing proportion, a front grille with crystal fog finish, large 20-inch wheels, and the iconic vertical DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) along with sharp front and rear lights, creating an instantly recognizable Cadillac aesthetic.

The powertrain consists of a 3.6-liter V6 DOHC engine producing a maximum output of 250kW (340ps) at 6,900rpm and a maximum torque of 386Nm at 5,300rpm. Combined with a newly adopted 10-speed automatic transmission, Active On-Demand all-wheel drive, Active Rear Steer (rear-wheel drive), Magnetic Ride Control (magnetorheological dampers), and a high-stiffness body that achieves a 100kg weight reduction by using 62 percent aluminum, the vehicle offers optimal stability and handling even on slippery surfaces like rain or snow.

In terms of equipment, it newly adopts the world's first DR (Dead Reckoning) map-matching compatible cloud streaming navigation, jointly developed with major map company Zenrin DataCom for the Japanese market. This system allows for position tracking even in environments where GPS is unavailable, by coordinating vehicle sensors (speed, direction, brightness, tilt). It also enables continuous streaming of the latest map data, freeing users from the hassle of map updates. Communication utilizes SoftBank's 4G network.

Furthermore, it comes standard with cutting-edge advanced safety features such as a rear camera mirror that expands visibility and reduces blind spots, Enhanced Night Vision that detects pedestrians and animals ahead and displays an infrared image, and the Safety Alert Driver Seat. The price is 10.26 million yen.
