The model announced this time is a special edition of the Aston Martin "DBS Superleggera," produced in a limited run of 50 units to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," the sixth film in the "007" series.DBS SuperleggeraIts distinctive feature is the olive green body color, the same as the familiar "DBS" Bond car that appeared in the 1969 film. This production is the latest collaboration with EON Productions, the producers of the "007" series.

The heart of the car is a 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, mounted low behind the front axle, producing a maximum output of 725ps at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 900Nm between 1,800 and 5,000rpm. This achieves a low center of gravity and ideal weight distribution. Furthermore, new tuning, the adoption of active valves, and the synergistic effect of the quad exhaust pipes are said to produce a dignified and powerful engine sound.

To replicate the features of the DBS from 50 years ago, the exterior includes six horizontal chrome bars in the metal grille. Equipped with a body-colored roof and roof rails, side strakes, a carbon fiber splitter, aero blades, and diamond-turned forged wheels, it is a complete "007" specification.

The interior also follows the 1969 model, featuring a trim of pure black leather accented with grey-blend Alcantara. The accent color is red, with red lining also applied to the glove box where the rifle was housed in the film.

Additionally, an optional custom drink case, created in line with the "007" theme, can be housed in the trunk space. When the metal clasps are released, the case opens to reveal a red felt interior, capable of storing two champagne bottles and four champagne flutes.

Aston Martin Lagonda President and CEO Andy Palmer commented, "Aston Martin is synonymous with James Bond. This special edition carries on the characteristics of the iconic DBS model from the 1969 film. At the same time, with its V12 engine delivering a formidable 725ps, it is truly a model worthy of being called a 'wolf in sheep's clothing.'"

This model is the latest in the "007" series, following the "DB5 Continuation" inspired by the film "Goldfinger,"and the 2015 "DB9 GT Bond Edition."The price is £300,007 (approximately 41.72 million yen). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2019.
