Enhanced Safety Features

In the specification changes made to the "XC60" this time, a collision avoidance/damage mitigation braking function has been added to "CTA (Cross Traffic Alert)." When backing out of a parking space, the millimetre-wave radar inside the rear bumper not only detects cars, pedestrians, and cyclists and alerts the driver with a warning sound, but also now activates brakes to avoid or mitigate collisions.

Additionally, a new function has been added to "Pilot Assist (Lane Keeping Support)," which gently and automatically corrects steering to maintain lane position and assist in keeping the vehicle centered in the lane. This new function provides a subtle vibration in the steering wheel to notify the driver of a temporary disengagement.

Furthermore, on the sporty "R-Design" grade, the side window trim, door mirror covers, and integrated roof rails have been finished in glossy black, and exclusive opening grid textile/leather combination seats have been adopted.



Additionally, similar to the V60, a general warranty program with unlimited mileage for five years from the new vehicle registration date has been newly introduced.

Prices have also been revised accordingly. For the diesel engine "D4 AWD," the "Momentum" is 6.44 million yen, the "R-Design" is 6.94 million yen, and the "Inscription" is 7.39 million yen. For the gasoline engine "T5 AWD," the "Momentum" is 6.14 million yen, the "Inscription" is 7.09 million yen, and the high-power gasoline engine version "T6 AWD R-Design" is 7.39 million yen. Finally, the hybrid "T8 Twin Engine AWD Inscription" is 9.24 million yen.
