Porsche Adds Sporty Cayenne Coupe to Cayenne Lineup
On March 22, Porsche AG announced the addition of the "Cayenne Coupe" to its SUV "Cayenne" lineup. This third-generation model features a sporty roofline.

Two Roof Types: Glass and Carbon
The most distinctive feature of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe is its roofline. The front windshield and A-pillars are raked to match a roof edge lowered by 20mm compared to the standard Cayenne. The rear doors and fenders have been redesigned to complement the sloping rear section, creating a sleek coupe silhouette.
Overall, the 18mm wider rear track imparts a powerful impression, and the integrated license plate in the bumper makes the vehicle appear closer to the ground. Additionally, the rear features a combination of a fixed roof spoiler and an adaptive rear spoiler as part of Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA). Seamlessly integrated into the coupe's silhouette, the spoiler extends up to 135mm at speeds over 90 km/h, enhancing rear tire grip while PAA improves aerodynamic efficiency.
The roof is available in two configurations: the standard fixed panoramic glass roof and an optional carbon roof. The carbon roof features a central indentation, similar to the 911 GT3 RS, further enhancing its sports car appeal.
The interior offers a spacious four-seat configuration, ensuring ample room for four adults. To accommodate the coupe's lower roofline, the rear seats are positioned 30mm lower than in the standard Cayenne, providing generous headroom. The luggage compartment offers 625 liters as standard, expandable to 1,540 liters by folding the rear seats (for the Cayenne Turbo Coupe, these figures are 600 liters and 1,510 liters, respectively).
Numerous optional packages are available, including lightweight 22-inch GT design wheels, classic houndstooth fabric seat centers, interior trim in carbon fiber or Alcantara, and a sports exhaust system.
Two engine options are available. The 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine produces 340 PS (250 kW) and 450 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 243 km/h with the standard Sport Chrono Package. This acceleration time is reduced to 5.9 seconds with the optional Lightweight Sport Package. The top-tier Cayenne Turbo Coupe is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, delivering 550 PS (404 kW) and 770 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 286 km/h. Pricing has not yet been announced.
Michael Mauer, Chief Designer at Porsche, commented, "With its dynamically sloping roofline, the Cayenne Coupe appears even more dynamic and is positioned as the sportiest-looking model in its segment."
