Bold Roof and Protector Placement Create a Sense of Ruggedness and Agility

In 2014, Subaru defined its design philosophy as "DYNAMIC×SOLID" and has since introduced concept cars and production models. Last year, the company announced its intention to evolve this into a more "bold" design, adopting "BOLDER" as a keyword.

The "VIZIV Adrenaline Concept," a sporty crossover whose name is a coined word derived from "Vision for Innovation," signifying a "vision of the future for innovation," is the first concept car designed under the "BOLDER" concept.

The body features a bold arrangement of the roof and protectors, creating an impression of both ruggedness and agility. White accents extending from the wheels to the all-terrain tires enhance its image as field gear.

Meanwhile, the Forester and Subaru XV, unveiled as European specifications, are equipped with Subaru's unique electric power unit, "e-BOXER," which combines a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated horizontally opposed engine with a motor. Designed for comfortable driving across a wide range of scenarios, it not only improves fuel efficiency but also offers enhanced throttle response and acceleration assist thanks to the motor's characteristics.

The Forester and Subaru XV equipped with "e-BOXER" are scheduled to go on sale in Europe starting this autumn.
