Powered by the Most Powerful V8 in Ferrari History: 720 hp

The latest model from Ferrari, created as the ultimate two-seater Berlinetta from the Prancing Horse. The name 'F8 Tributo' is said to be an homage to Ferrari's V8 models, which have pursued weight balance and power for over 40 years as the optimal powertrain for mid-engined two-seaters.

The new 3,902cc 90-degree V8 twin-turbo engine produces a maximum output of 720 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 770 Nm at 3,250 rpm. This is a 50 hp increase over the predecessor 488, making it the most powerful Ferrari outside of its special series. This engine, boasting 185 hp per liter, accelerates the 4,611mm long, 1,979mm wide, 1,206mm high body, weighing 1,330kg dry (40kg less than the 488GTB), from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in 7.8 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h.

These Ferrari 3,902cc V8 engines have won the International Engine of the Year award for three consecutive years since 2016, and in 2018, they were selected as the 'Best of the Best' among the best engines of the past 20 years.

To maximize the potential of this engine, which delivers a thrilling exhaust note and instantaneous response comparable to naturally aspirated engines without any turbo lag, the exterior was designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre.

Quad Headlights Make a Comeback

The front features a redesigned version of the 'S-Duct' from the 488-based special model '488 Pista,' contributing up to 15 percent of the total downforce. Additionally, the adoption of compact, flat new LED headlights improves airflow around the wheel arches, and by integrating new brake cooling intakes with the outer bumper intakes, Ferrari has successfully avoided the need to enlarge the brake system.

At the rear, a new Lexan rear window allows a view into the engine bay. This is a modern interpretation of a distinctive design element from the 1987 'F40,' with the louvers increasing downforce without negatively impacting the efficiency of the rear spoiler, while also promoting heat dissipation from the engine bay.

The tail section adopts a classic configuration with quad headlights and a body-colored panel, marking the return of a symbol of Ferrari's V8 Berlinettas, starting with the 1975 '308GTB,' the first model in the V8 series.

The interior largely follows the traditional driver-focused cockpit design of mid-engined Berlinettas, but the instrument panel, door panels, and transmission tunnel have been redesigned.

The adoption of a new generation HMI (Human-Machine Interface), along with circular air vents, a smaller steering wheel and controls, and a new 7-inch passenger touchscreen display, represents a significant evolution in the cabin environment, unimaginable from earlier models.
